Neighbor one didn’t want his old wooden nightstand
So I took it
He also didn’t want his black and white cat
So I took it
Neighbor two didn’t want his chickens
So I took ‘em
He also didn’t want his old fashioned top hat
So I took that too
Neighbor three didn’t want his dirty old rat
So I took it
He also didn’t want a dog that looked like that
So I took it
Neighbor four didn’t want his cool new golf club
So I took it
He also didn’t want a his worn out baseball glove
So I took it
Neighbor five didn’t want his honey-comb bee hive
So I took it
He also said his shoes didn’t fit
So I took them
Neighbor six put his tricks in a bag left as trash
Neighbor seven left heaven in his heavy hour glass
Neighbor nine said nothing of his would be mine
And neighbor ten didn’t have anything
So I counted backwards down from ten
And looked around for Neighbor eight.
